I provide research, analysis, advice and support in the development and implementation of BC's water and natural resource sector policy, strategies, and legislation under the Ministry of Land, Water and Resource Stewardship.

I provided research, analysis, advice and support in the development and implementation of BC's water and natural resource sector policy, strategies, and legislation under the then-named Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy.

Contributed to and supported the development and implementation of BC water and natural resource sector strategies, policy, procedures, legislation, planning frameworks and non-regulatory and outreach tools.

Successfully supported the negotiation and development of Ontario's first Resource Revenue Sharing agreements with 31 First Nations in forestry and mining. Organized multi-ministry and divisional teams, built internal and external partnerships, and demonstrated strong project management, coordination, and interpersonal skills. Supported policy development, partner engagement, and collaboration.

Supported the development of MNRF climate change actions through the coordination and strategic alignment of ministry climate change adaptation and mitigation programs. Supported project management of inter-ministerial working groups, conducted policy research to inform decision making, facilitated stakeholder communication, and contributed to climate change related requests.

Assisted Park Planners and Biologists with the delivery of the protected areas planning, research and forestry program, and participated in the interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures related to parks and protected areas. Prepared protected areas plans, amendments, and resource management plans; developed data bases and reports; and collected, analyzed, and communicated data and conclusions.

Conducted field research regarding present structures, greywater management systems, invasive species, and shoreline characteristics within specified areas of Algonquin Park. Database management included the analysis, interpretation, and communication of data.

Conducted scientific research in partnership with Western University. Experience with hydrology and water chemistry sampling, benthic invertebrate sampling and identification, designing monitoring stations. Research included analyzing in vivo chlorophyll concentration and phytoplankton abundance in inland lakes.

As a Tutor for Elephant Thought's Northern Program I collaborated with teachers, principals, and administrators to improve student success. This is a month long position aimed at helping First Nation Cree high school students prepare for their final exams being held at the end of the summer school program.
