I moved from West Virginia to Georgia and began my teaching career in 2003, where I taught GA Pre-K until 2017. I was offered a position with Dawson County Schools teaching their 2017-2018 Preschool Bridge Program and graciously accepted. Deciding to venture out of my GAPre-K comfort zone to teach in the Preschool Exceptional Students Department has been one of the best choices I have made! I always knew that I wanted a Master's in Early Childhood Education, but now I know it has to be in Special Education. The administrative and classroom support teams I have are phenomenal and have made my transition so smooth. I believe in providing these little ones with the best school experience possible. While I get to watch these exceptional children grow, learn, laugh, and love, I wonder if I will get the chance to thank them for doing the same for me!
