As a certified nursing assistant (CNA), I have many responsibilities. The most important is caring for my residents. I assist with feeding, personal care, toileting and anything else they require assistance with. This position requires great compassion, empathy, and communication skills. Other tasks required for this position include working with my fellow aides and nurses, maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents and staff, documenting all care provided, ensuring residents rooms are stocked with all required supplies, interacting with families, and just being emotional support for both residents and their families.

As a fabricator, it was my responsibility to maintain safety protocols to ensure myself and my coworkers weren't injured. I ran a large press and had to inspect parts for quality. I was required to maintain a clean work area and work with my team to meet productivity rates. This was a very fast paced and team-oriented position.

As an opening shift manager it was my responsibility to prepare the restaurant to run for the day. I was responsible for cash handling and counting drawers. I also had to ensure my team stayed on task so that things ran smoothly. It was up to me to be aware of food safety guidelines and ensure that we always maintained a clean and safe environment. I assisted my team with food prep, cleaning, stocking, and labeling product. I handled most customer complaints and interacted with customers very regularly.
