I have been utilizing my business management skills for over a decade to help manage a family farm which includes business and agricultural software and state of the art GPS systems, financial planning and management, and business development and estate and succession planning. I embrace agvocating because farming isn't a job, it's a passion and a lifestyle.I was a lifeguard for 15 years, starting at the age of 15. I became a Lifeguard Instructor and Water Safety Instructor, Pool Assistant Manager and assisted with beginning SCUBA courses in college. I retired from poolside when my children were born. Apparently that was the time I felt I had to get a "real job".I helped a local winery owner during my college internship go from making 3000-5000 gallons of wine in his home basement to the beautiful building he has today for increased production, a retail front for his wine and a great event location on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River bottoms. I worked part-time while farming for the next 2 years in private social services doing development work, accreditation policy and procedure and internal audit.I love to travel and have been all over the world. So it only made sense to help others enjoy travel too. I became a certified travel agent in 2013 and came on board with Luxevo Vacations in 2018 as a Travel Specialist and haven't looked back.The Covid season brought much uncertainty to my travel specialist career with trip cancellations daily. Meanwhile, the demand for farm to table products skyrocketed!
