During this role I worked at Heartsease Primary Academy as a Year 1 teacher with a one year contract organised by Engage Education. As a Year 1 teacher, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my students and imbedding a love of learning within them. As well as getting to know my students, I became familiar with the English educational system and associated curriculum. This was a valuable year in which I progressed significantly as an educator.
