I was chosen for this position due to my good work as an English student. I sat in on freshmen level English classes and then held sessions to go over class material again to help the students get better grades in that class. I taught mainly about composing research papers, works cited pages, and understanding literature.

I worked here for two summers in between getting my college degree (about 8 months). I took customer calls and managed the schedules of our salesmen. Because I was the first voice of the company that customers heard, my position emphasized the need to deliver a good first impression and excellent customer service. I kept the office clean and operating smoothly. In my second summer working there my manager quit and I was offered that position but had to turn it down to finish my college degree. Instead I took on some of the sales manager's responsibilities including filing customer information and keeping track of sales totals. I also helped train the new sales manager and wrote a training manual to make training new sales employees easier in the future.
