- Assisting with the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent, trademark, service mark, and copyright applications- Assisting with the preparation, filing and management of business name registration, and internet domain name registration- Acting as liaison among all parties including inventors and applicants seeking intellectual property protection for scheduling and sharing information- Organizing and managing documents, including the creation of intellectual property docketing, conflict reports, search reports, applications, and recording instruments in both physical files and electronic filing and management systems- Coordinating the collection, review and production of documents and responding to inventor/applicant requests- Researching prior art using electronic searching and reference sources (translated to English pro re nata)- Compiling information and, preparing statistics, charts, graphs and other summaries to detail prior art research findings, patentability opinions, infringement opinions, freedom-to-operate opinions, and validity opinions
