I completed the Software Engineering Immersive Program from General Assembly in May 2023. The program provided an intensive training experience aimed at equipping aspiring engineers with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in software engineering. Throughout the program, we learned fundamental programming concepts, popular languages, software development frameworks, and industry-standard tools. Emphasizing hands-on learning, the curriculum included lectures, coding exercises, individual and group projects, and practical experience. I supported a cross-functional team by performing detail-oriented administrative and clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, recording medical histories, preparing patients for exams, collecting lab specimens, and administering medications. I was promoted to and founded the Resource Lead role, which was later expanded to 3 additional teams. In this role, I identified areas for improvement and implemented new workflows that increased productivity, improved patient experience, and reduced medical errors. Additionally, I was the lead trainer and assisted 5+ medical assistants daily, ensuring they followed best practices and Sutter standards. Moreover, I voluntarily organized and led re-engagement and educational sessions each month for 50 high-risk non-compliant patients. This initiative increased the targeted patient return rate by 100% and guaranteed they would receive the recommended healthcare.

I took patients vitals, administered vaccinations, carefully handled lab specimen while considering potentially infectious diseases, completed procedures, ordered medical supplies and medication for the office. I established workflows and policies for better patient experience.
