Cardio-Thoracic Progressive Care Unit • Provided postop care to vascular and cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve repair, pneumonectomy, esophagectomy and more on the progressive care unit directly from the ICU.• Provided pre and post care to patients undergoing cardiac-catheterization and EP studies, pacemaker and AICD implantation, TEE, MI screenings and anticoagulation therapy. Including arterial/venous sheath removal.• Expert in chest tube management and cardiac medications and antiarrhythmic infusions.• Monitor telemetry readings, identify irregularities and notify appropriate medical team member.
