From my previous experiences in high school, college, and my first job, I have gained numerous invaluable skills that will aid me in being the best employee I can be. While in high school, I constantly aspired to be on the top ten list (which I succeeded in doing, graduating ninth in my class), as a result, I became a very driven and motivated person.At Cayuga Community College and School of Environmental Science and Forestry I learned the value of teamwork as well as public speaking. While at ESF in my global environment course we were required to conduct a semester long project with a group which really helped me develop teamwork skills. At CCC I developed public speaking skills by partaking in many presentations and participating in a mock interview in front of my career and life planning class which helped boost my confidence. As a result of my experiences I have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills that I will be able to someday apply to an internship as well as a career.
