The Partners in Recovery program provides case facilitation through the development of supports for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who have complex needs, by better coordination of the broad range of services and supports that may be of benefit and ensuring services work in a more collaborative, coordinated, and integrated way.

Past employment within Drug Arm included a dual role working as a Central Intake Officer where a major part of my role was to assess a client’s needs by completing eligibility screens and to assign clients to the correct program within our organization to meet these needs, or alternatively to refer clients to a variety of services within the community to meet their needs. I was also involved in DAAR counselling as requested, where I provide counselling and support in a one off session for people who have been arrested for violent offences involving substances use as part of the “Safe Night Out” initiative.
