Our department is responsible for maintaining the accurate inventory for the Portland facility, as well as ensuring accurate order fulfillment. We cover a wide variety of functions within the warehouse, including but not limited to auditing out going packages, reconciling inventory discrepancies, restocking items from cancelled orders, and fulfilling rush orders.

As Manager on Record, I was responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of the inventory crew. I used critical thinking and people skills to place the employees at the optimum places within the store, audited sections of the inventory, and ran a variety of reports including inventory variance, managed payroll.

I worked at two different facilities during my tenure at Dell. I began as a temp at the Lebanon, TN facility. Before and after being hired as a full time employee, I worked as a builder, assembling desktop PC's. I also worked on an assembly line getting materials to the builders, and in various other parts of the facility. Once I transferred to the Nashville, TN facility, I was in Single Point Induction. In that department, I learned basic maintenance on the vacuum robots, the exceptions and damage processes, and receiving. I was also asked to fill in on occasion as acting supervisor, responsible for all above mentioned processes. I also worked in the peripherals department. There, I filled all functions including order fulfillment, exceptions, damages, and shipping.
