Cassandra Mott is a Partner and Co-chair of Blank Rome's Houston Office. She represents commercial banks and non-bank lenders, as well as borrowers, in a variety of commercial transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged buyout financings related to acquisitions and recapitalizations. According to Chambers USA, she is an "exceptional practitioner with great business sense."Cassandra has structured, negotiated, and documented financing facilities of many types, including senior, subordinated, unitranche, single bank, syndicated, asset-based, cash flow, first lien and second lien facilities. Cassandra also advises clients on intercreditor matters, helping them structure and negotiate transactions with multiple debt tranches and lien priorities. Her practice also includes advising clients on debt restructurings.Her industry experience is vast and includes transactions in numerous businesses such as oil and gas, chemicals, consumer products, healthcare, technology, retail, transportation, and manufacturing.Cassandra previously served on the Global Board of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). She is also past president of the Houston Chapter of ACG and co-chaired the 2016 and 2018 Texas ACG Capital Connections. Cassandra also serves on the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, the Stewardship Committee of the Houston Food Bank and the Development Committee at Houston Christian High School. She also serves as the outside co-general counsel for the Houston Food Bank.
