At HiRail Leasing I got the opportunity to work in several areas. I was did the secretary work with HiRails secondary company Algoma Towing where I dispatched calls, used the computer, answered phones and run Purolator who used Algoma Towing as their in town location. I then worked at HiRail leasing doing their accounts payable where I used Quickbooks and the computer using word and excel. I also worked answering phones, filing and other tasks around the office.

Working outdoors and indoors at an apartment building keeping the area clean and looking good. Cleaning out apartments that are vacant and make them livable for people moving in. Cutting and watering the grass.

I started out as a cashier and then was asked to become a front end supervisor. I then had to count the tills, make sure people were on time for their shift, worked with customers when they needed extra help and refunds. I also had to close the store at night when I worked the evening shift and open the store when you work the morning shift. I worked a lot with customers and money. Also, there was always new workers coming and going.
