About Cassandra Peltier

I am a Master's Student, recently graduated from the Archives Management program and currently completing my Master's thesis in History at Simmons University. I have almost 10 years of experience working in libraries and museums and a background in leading creative workshops and organizing educational events for community members. I am committed to decolonization and intersectional, interdisciplinary practices in LAMs which connect the rich resources of libraries and cultural organizations with community members through accessible programs and platforms. The most rewarding aspects of my work include introducing reluctant readers to resources that ignite their passion for the written word and helping museum and archives patrons connect with history in meaningful ways.
