About Cassandra R.

I'm committed to advancing equitable change to systems of public health and safety using community engaged research and policymaking. My pathway into this work first stems from engaging with crime victims and people on probation and parole. I've since grown my knowledge and expertise in interdisciplinary, applied, research, ranging from studying Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) amoung young people in Rikers Island to Hospital Based Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs). My research is actionable, policy focused, and aims to drive change at local and national levels.
