I have experience in many different roles in different industries I currently work in the health insurance industry, and have previously worked in day cares, a grocery store, and in retail positions. In my current position, I train and mentor new employees, mostly from overseas contracting companies. The company I work for is a health insurance company, and I am in the quality department where we process test claims to ensure that benefits are correct before going out to the member. I work with the trainees to guide them through their training and then through the claims testing work that they are assigned, answering questions and teaching them how to do new things. I have also been trained in several benefit coding systems as well as spent most of my time with the company testing claims. I am also the sole point of contact and training for the Medicare Advantage claims testing with the company.When I began working, I was a cashier at a grocery store. After about a year, I began to work in a small day care room in the grocery store for over 7 years where I not only looked after children, but I organized and filed paperwork daily, answered phones, created and led events for the children, as well as interacted with customers on a daily basis. I have also previously worked for Walt Disney World when I participated in the Disney College Program where I was also able to use my customer service skills as well as learn even more. During that time, I also assisted management with collecting money from registers each night as well as the paperwork that went along with that. After that time, I worked at two day cares where I was responsible for young children, as well as creating lesson plans, helping them learn skills such as sharing or potty training, and organizing parent-teacher conferences.I hold an Associate's of Applied Business in Graphic Design that I received in 2014. During my degree program, I learned how to use graphic design software such as the Adobe Creative Suite, and I also learned how to use the different programs of Microsoft Office. I have many years of experience working on or with computers, and I learn new software or programs very quickly, as well as being a fast learner and able to teach myself things quickly.
