Carer Recruitment And Assessment Officer
Time For Kids
Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
Time for Kids is a non-profit organization providing early intervention services to at-risk youth to prevent them from entering the juvenile justice system, by matching them with long-term caregivers. As a former Carer Recruitment and Assessment Officer and Carer and Placement Support Coordinator at Time for Kids in Adelaide, I am proud to have contributed to the organization's growth and success. In my role, I accomplished the following:• Successfully identified and selected the right carers for Time for Kids' core respite care program, by managing the entire recruitment process, including candidate screening, conducting interviews and assessments, and presenting recommendations to the management team;• Cultivated collaborative relationships with community groups, government departments, and not-for-profit organizations to expand the organization's reach and impact;• Executed new placement matches with direct ongoing placement support to create long-term, meaningful, and sustainable relationships between carers and youth; and• Played a vital role in coordinating and facilitating extra-curricular programs, such as fundraising events, social outings, holiday community giving programs, and emergency relief, to ensure that the organization met the holistic needs of the youth it serves.
