Client Management - Key State Accounts: Responsible for managing staff for the marketing support of the three largest state accounts. Provide ongoing direction for clinical staff, professional writers and data administrators for the implementation of the Key State Accounts’ medical and pharmacy contracts. Responsible for meeting the contractual performance guarantees and service level agreements to avoid financial penalties and to insure customer satisfaction, retention and growth. Operational Improvement: Provide standardization and process improvement for department. Integrate a consultative approach for team deliverables by introducing performance metrics, lessons learned review and workflow process and redesign into their daily activities. Enhance staff’s core competencies for improved team accountability and performance.

 Project Management Office/Kaiser Permanente: Provided consultation for the state-wide installation of Clinical Information Systems (CIS); Managed and minimized the financial and patient safety risks associated with CIS deployments and system enhancements. Strategic Development: Developed metrics and Client tool-kits to assess and improve benefits achieved from CIS installation. Facilitated sessions with staff and clinicians for process and workflow re-design. Developed solutions and strategies to move Client from current state to desired or future state. Performance Improvement: Provided financial and operational assessment for Emergency Departments and Operating Rooms; Conducted analyses for capacity and staffing levels, patient throughput and overall operations to achieve efficiencies.

 Clinical and Financial Analysis: Provided internal consultation to Trinity Health Plan’s CMO, senior management and clinical staff on the appropriate interpretation and use of clinical and financial data. Regularly used business intelligence tools for advanced analytics, predictive modeling, risk profiling and pay-for-performance programs. Performance Measurement: Conducted complex data analyses to assess utilization trends, financial performance and variances through multiple reporting applications. Benchmarked the Plan’s performance against competitor and industry standards. Project Management: Led the NCQA/HEDIS data collection, reporting and audit process. Responsible for external vendor oversight, quality assurance and the on-site audit activities. Facilitated preparatory sessions across organization prior to audits.
