Growing up, my dad would check me out of school on random days and I would ride around with him making sales calls. I met many people and started perfecting the art of sales very young. I watched my parent’s business idea grow into a reality; however, I had no intentions to make the family business a part of my career. Perusing my love and passion for people, I enrolled in the Dedman School of Hospitality program while taking classes to minor in Marketing. Those classes helped grow my confidence in myself as a leader and speaker, team management, and event planning. Fresh out of school I found jobs quickly and almost effortlessly. While maintaining a full-time position, I helped at the family business on my down time. I quickly felt the pull and draw into the world of sales and soon realized that I needed to join the POSS team – not only to help the business grow but because I could not deny the salesman blood in me. Now, I have helped implement new business strategies that have helped propel POSS Medical into the company we are today. It has been an amazing journey to watch the business you help build grow and become something bigger than me and my family could ever imagine. There is something special about putting your hard work, tears (literally), and time into something that is part yours. At POSS Medical, I challenge our team to do more than what is expected, to continually improve, to appreciate customers, to be compassionate, to be a servant leader, and to let creativity outshine outdated traditions. I firmly believe our small family can make a huge impact on our medical supply field.
