I am a former educator of little humans, current educator of big humans. My teaching extends through my writing, both in content and in the art of copywriting. My areas of expertise include holistic health, wellness, and mindfulness.Passionate about mental health and holistic practices like mindfulness, I've always been deeply immersed in the world of health and wellness. My journey began 7 years ago as an Educational Assistant, supporting special needs classrooms and fostering mental well-being among students.In my role as a Health & Wellness lead in two schools, I implemented numerous initiatives, including a successful ‘Mindfulness Recess Club’. My advocacy for mental wellness extended beyond the classroom walls, beginning in 2020, as I took to writing and speaking on subjects like Mindfulness, Resilience, Psychoneuroimmunology, and the Positive Effects Nature has on our Biology. My work has featured at Edmonton Public Schools, Alberta Teachers Association events, and Shaping the Future Conferences.This speaking journey paved the way for further exploration in writing. I've been featured on kidsyogastories.com and started my own blog, Mindful Miss T, to dive deeper into topics that matter. My venture into blog writing ignited a passion for copywriting, beginning with crafting the copy for my Gratitude Journal for Teens. Since then, I've been immersing myself in the realm of persuasive writing and copywriting.As a perpetual learner, I've spent the last two years engrossed in copywriting and marketing courses and books. I've applied these skills to assist holistic and wellness-focused companies in crafting thought-provoking, inspiring, and educational sales pages.Recently, I've embraced the world of project management, combining it with my copywriting expertise. My love for organization and detailed planning, along with a strong affinity for accountability spreadsheets, this has made project management a fulfilling new avenue in my careerA side project close to my heart is my upcoming picture book, 'The Tree Spot.' It is currently in the illustration phase and set for release in 2024. Inspired by my love for nature, this book embodies the lessons I've learned in picture book form. Stay tuned for its debut!
