Led documentation, data analysis for process inputs and outputs.Hands on work with equipment/instruments such as spray dryer, decanter, HTST pasteurizer, pumps, flow meters, pressure transducers as well as cleaning and sanitizing.

Actively worked on process control and analysis, process improvement, investigation/CAPAs of production issues, training technicians, SOP and Batch Record revisions, optimization of workflows, equipment troubleshooting/maintenance/prevention, system maintenance and management.Key accomplishments:- Doubled productive capacity by procuring and validating new processing equipment for an additional manufacturing suite and training three shifts on process flow- Executed study to reduce critical homogenizer process parameter by 25%, eliminating all related manufacturing delays, and saving $50k yearly in repairs- Increased product hold time from 24 to 96 hours, preventing unnecessary rejection of 6+ lots and saving $300k in 3 months

Formerly known as Pearl Therapeutics. Worked on the production of a novel inhalation drug and delivery mechanism, Bevespi Aerosphere, for the treatment of patients with COPD. Supported and drove FDA approval of product and subsequent launch to US markets. Worked extensively with commercial GMP pharmaceutical production processes in a clean room environment.

Part of the device development group that worked on a novel delivery device for the drug Lucentis, which treats ocular diseases. My job included destructive and non-destructive test method development, validation, and execution for verification of device design.

Zyomyx, Inc. worked towards a novel point-of-care CD4 T-cell diagnostic test for HIV/AIDS in the developing world.As a process engineer, I was involved in the support of manufacturing for the scale up of the device, equipment development work and validation, documentation, process optimization, statistical data analysis, and assay development and execution.Much of my position involved the implementation of automated equipment to meet production demands. I worked with multiple departments within the company and multiple suppliers external to the company in order to obtain necessary equipment, validation work, and process optimization.Unfortunately, Zyomyx closed its doors in July of 2014.
