Managed social media advertising and moderated social platforms to manage riskDesigned and delivered 'It's OK to not be OK' mental health stigma reduction campaign. Reach on social media was more than 300,000, 5000+ shares, likes, reactions and comments, 7383 page views, 5317 unique visits.

Two-year secondment to a project role responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy for RMIT’s new whole-of-community strategic action plan for mental health and promoting RMIT’s health, safety and wellbeing priorities for both staff and students, including:• Providing expert advice regarding communication messages across RMIT and how to best engage staff and student audiences on health, safety and wellbeing priorities• Developing integrated communication plans, materials and information resources to support initiatives and events related to health, safety and wellbeing strategies including: mental health, occupational health and safety, respect and safe working environments • Providing leadership-specific wellbeing content including speaking notes Developed and delivered a communications strategy to navigate psycho-social risks through COVID-19. Worked with the Crisis Incident Management team and a clinical psychologist, to deliver 26 news stories, online events, digital assets and new web contentLaunched two new social media channels to connect and support staff and students through COVID-19 lockdowns. ‘RMIT Together’ Facebook group grew organically to 5000 members with a 41% engagement rate (industry average is 0.1%)Deleloped a language guide to inform communications staff in speaking safely about mental health and wellbeing at RMITRan 'Be the Change' a whole community campaign to reduce sexual harm. With 467 online commitments, we exceeded our targets by 367%Devised a new campaign 'Study Success' to bring together five stakeholders and support students during the peak exam/assignment period. 4000 students visited the online guideProvided communications support and advice following a critical incident. Followed HeadSpace protocols and rapidly developed leader messaging, video content, print resources and a campaign about supports following the incident.

As part of RMIT’s Education Portfolio, the central student communications team supported 14 student-facing areas including Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion and Disability Support. Developed communications strategy and delivered targeted and effective campaigns to engage students and transform their experience at RMIT.Designed a new approach to address international student needs based on CX research – 9 new videos featuring students, rebuilt sections of the website and delivered an integrated email campaign to 18,000+ students with 67% open rates.
