WARIDI seeks to improve health, water resources management, agriculture, climate change adaptation and environmental conservation. Developed quantitative and qualitative instruments for use in a baseline survey as well as in routine monitoring and evaluation to show progress against targets.

FARM II aimed to increase production, link farmers to markets, and build organizational capacity of 10,000 farmer and 700+ farmer organizations (FBOs) in the Greenbelt region of South Sudan. Reviewed institutional capacity of FARM II’s M&E department and developed recommendations to reorganize and restructure department to improve performance. Designed supplemental survey, reaching 600 farmers and 75 farmer-based organizations across three states, to report against project targets and to assess project impact.

Senior Analyst/Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst for Tuboreshe Chakula, a USAID Feed the Future project, which aims to transform agro-processing and improve the supply and demand for nutritious food in Tanzania.

Principal Investigator for project entitled, “A Critical Ethnography of Globalization in Lesotho, Africa: Syndemic Water Insecurity and the Micro-politics of Participation." Developed qualitative and quantitative instruments to measure the syndemic effects of water insecurity, food insecurity and household illness on women and families.

Served as the USAID Country Operational Plan (COP) focal person for PEPFAR Coordination Office (PCO). Responsible for organizing and disseminating information to technical working groups, project managers and team leads for COP 2011.

Research Associate and Project Manager for a multi-million dollar National Science Foundation grant examining race and gender equity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics departments in higher education.

Provided technical support to the Gender Activities Advisor and the Prevention Technical Working Group on mainstreaming gender into the design, planning and monitoring of gender activities in all PEPFAR-funded programming.

Created and taught course entitled "Cultures of Sub-Saharan Africa" to upper-level undergraduates at a liberal arts college.
