QC Microbiology: Responsibilities included running microbiology assays according to current SOPs and GMP standards. Department Sharepoint site owner, peer reviewer, investigation/deviation documentation, and SOP revision were among other tasks. Attended root cause analysis training as part of extensive yellow belt training and department improvement project and to improve investigation writing capabilities.

Performing a variety of laboratory duties such as growing cell cultures, running experiments using PCR, immunohistochemistry, and transfections as well as many other research laboratory techniques. Outlined and performed experiments for a mentored research project of which the findings were presented at the Illinois Symposium on Reproductive Sciences as well as other university symposia.
