Hello! My name is Cassandra Blackmore, and I'm currently the Executive Director of the Fredericton Community Kitchens and am also running for City Council for Ward 10 in May 2021. Previous to coming to work at the Fredericton Community Kitchens, I ran my own business, Just Better Styling, and worked in the private sector for a small business for eight years. I also design websites and manage social media networks in my spare time along with volunteering on various boards and committees in Fredericton. I have developed and fine-tuned my skill set over the course of my various careers. I love to problem-solve and strategize. I am truly a people person and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I have background in marketing, accounting, sales, and a little bit of everything else. I truly am a "jill-of-all-trades" and believe one of my strongest assets is my ability to adapt, grow, and rise to the challenge no matter what position I am in.
