Non-Profit Experience:My experience in a non-profit environment consist of finding and directing a traveling children’s museum. I was involved in the development of the children’s museum that included its start-up and sustaining it's mission within the community. In addition, I worked in grant-funded projects, coordinated fund-raiser events, and managed volunteers. My recent experience is in developing and leading regions to sustain a high quality student exchange program. Leadership Experience: I have taken on leadership roles in education. I have supervised and coached student and new teachers. I guided these teachers to develop their teaching craft in areas of lesson planning, classroom management, and reflective practices. My philosophy in guiding educators is to assist in teachers to understand themselves, their students, and subject matter's role in society. In addition, I have managed, recruited, and trained groups in various programs throughout my career. P-16 Experience:I have taught in classrooms over the past ten years’ teaching science, English Language Learns, and math courses. I am a practiced teacher of STEM courses including pre-algebra, biology, chemistry, and physical science. I have taught diverse students at various levels, including honors and special education cooperative environments. In addition, I have experience planning on various types of schedules, curriculum development and online teaching. As a seasoned classroom teacher, I hold a High-Qualified Nevada teaching licenses. Likewise, to teaching at the secondary level, I have over five years’ experience as an instructor teaching introductory biology and educational courses; while developing seminar programs.
