Instructional Designer And Program Manager
United States
• I hit the ground running on a key initiative during just my second day in the organization. By the end of second week, I was able to create a learning strategy and provide 3 key deliverables to support a large-scale software implementation. I went on to provide continuous consultation & blended learning services. • I piloted a learning solution for payroll which resulted in zero post-payroll error corrections (a key metric which should be as low as possible). • Integral part of the analysis, design, development, and implementation of new hire blended learning paths for all 7 key operational areas in the business. This included focus groups, 1:1 interviews, working with SMEs, negotiating with Stakeholders, and getting executive sponsorship and alignment; mapping curriculum, writing performance & learning objectives, organizing smartsheets, creating storyboards; developing eLearning courses, developing job aids, developing video tutorials & audio recordings, and creating guidance documents for On-the-Job Trainers. • Joined the company’s largest change initiative in history – implementing a human capital management system. I provided services including change management, gap/needs analysis, consultation, proposed learning strategy, eLearning development, Live VILT (and materials), Train-the-Trainer implementation, and more. • In September, I was asked to be the Program Manager of our new flagship offering: Virtual Train-the-Trainer. This is a key piece of the Structured On-the-Job training talent strategy. My role includes partnering with HR and Operational leaders to identify candidates for the OJT role, enrolling candidates in the program, designing materials for the program, facilitation sessions, coaching other facilitators, sending out evaluation forms both to collect and report data, certifying new OJTs, creating and maintaining the CoP, and more.• I work w/ colleagues to align the strategies of SOJT, new hire learning paths, and new hire onboarding.
