Provided civil engineering design and environmental permitting to clients that included small engineering firms.

In charge of a seven person division that reports to the Public Works Commissioner. Responsibilities include managing the City's NPDES Phase II storm water program, overseeing GIS projects, managing roadway and utility reconstruction and expansion, responding to various resident requests, coordinating with other departments such as Community Development, representing the DPW on hazardous waste sites, and coordinating with the meter division and cross connection control.

I served as Chair of the Somerville Conservation Commission for 15 years. My responsibilities included review of all projects before the Commission and guiding the members toward resolution on projects before the board.

Served as the engineer to the water dept. Prime responsibilities included developing the procurement package and managing the installation of an radio frequency automated meter reading system on 15,000 accounts. I also managed the cross connection control program, which involved supervising four staff positions, permitting, and developing new policies and procedures. Third, I participated in the creation of a GIS system for the water mains and appurtenances and managed the implementation at the water department. Last, I participated in policy and procedure programs within the water department and contributed to inhouse design projects.

Lead civil engineer in support of two waste to energy facility development projects in Puerto Rico.

Performed construction phasing and scheduling for the Terminal Area Roadways Project at Massport's Logan Airport. Created and maintained a 750+activity design schedule and assisted the PM with contract administration including preparing and winning a $1M contract amendment.

Participated in multiple public works projects including roadway grade crossings commuter rail station design. Prepared specifications for the Dudley Square station rehabilitation project. Also managed the environmental impact statement for the Northeast Corridor Rail Electrification project. Finally, participated in program management for Massport's Logan Modernization project.
