Experienced design and construction profession with demonstrated and dedicated success working in the private sector as well as government administration. I have a passion for creating programs and projects that improve conditions in the built environment, including making streets safer for pedestrians and cyclists, shepherding environmental approval of a long-distance rail electrification project, improving drinking and storm water quality, and cleaning hazardous waste sites. I am particularly qualified in the juxtaposition of development projects within the natural environment. And I believe that civil engineering projects must have an aesthetic component in order to create attractive spaces for the public. Last, as climate change is becoming the most overarching issue of our time, I am interested in resiliency and sustainability, with a primary focus on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
