Hello! I am Cassandra Olier and recently graduated from the University of Idaho. I am currently working at Itron in Liberty Lake through ManPower Spokane as their temporary COVID - 19 Health Screener. I hold my degree in exercise science & health with a minor in pre-health studies. I plan on attending graduate school after getting more experience as a health and wellness worker under my belt and pursuing a master's degree in public health. I am currently seeking a public health, wellness, and/or physical activity entry level position in a related field such as public health, community health, health promotion, and/or health education. I am available in Spokane, Washington and surrounding areas and/or Coeur d' Alene, Idaho and surrounding areas. As a working student, and now as a working graduate, I have had many opportunities to grow in my communication skills, professional skills, and public health skills. I have grown my communication skills both in and out of the workplace. I served in a restaurant for three(+) years which allowed my customer service skills to flourish. Outside of the workplace, I have taken a community health course in which I completed a communication skills competency assessment and worked to gain more knowledge on the subject. I have grown my professional skills both in and out of the workplace as well. I currently am working at Itron in Liberty Lake, WA at which I preform health screenings for employees as they enter the facility and confirm that they have completed the required return to work training, which allows me to practice my professionalism skills. Lastly, I have grown my public health skills through health promotion and community health courses. In these courses I was able to take the Public Health Core Competency Assessment and build an e-portfolio showing my improvement over the course of the class.
