I am currently a student at Unity College studying Animal Health and Wellness with an added concentration in Marine Biology. I am passionate about environmental issues such as animal rights, climate change and preserving and protecting our ecosystem. After I finish my degree, I hope to work at a rehabilitation center or in a sanctuary setting to provide the best care possible to the animals who have been neglected and/or mistreated.While focusing on my education I work 2 jobs. One of them is a Merchandising Lead at American Eagle and the other is a Clerical Assistant at Presidential Pest Control. My retail job has provided me with skills such as: customer service, organization, being a motivator, leading a team, being honest, and being reliable as well punctual. My 8 years of clerical experience has helped me learn skills such as: effective communication, accuracy, precision, and data entry. Working in these two different environments have provided me with several valuable skills that can be applied across many different fields of employment.
