In the past I have completed my Associates of Arts degree. During those two years, those of which I did during high school, I took classes in AutoCAD, computer applications, and Civil Engineering. While working for degree and high school diploma I also worked mostly full-time at a variety of food service and customer service jobs. Including Mod Pizza, Firehouse Subs, ColdStone Creamery, and a Janitorial Service. These jobs gave me skills including register knowledge, crew member training, leadership roles, customer service, food safety, and independent growth skills. I have over three years of experience in different roles and leadership experience.Besides working and completing my studies I also participated in a creative design club (Destination Imagination). This design club was based around a problem that your team had to come up to a solution for. The time frame to develop this solution, plan a skit, build a set, design costumes, and mastermind a unique answer to the given problem, was 6 months. Destination Imaginations gave me so much hands on experience and the ability to research techhinques and skills I didn't have in teh past. Using some of the skills I taught myself, I built an entire set, designed mechanical parts to change set pieces, researched specific items (such as use of dry ice, sewing, color changing chemicals, and set change effects). The entire club was not only the most fun of my high school career but also the most rewarding with the skills I earned from it.
