Salon/Spa Manager
I successfully taught, lead and maintained our SalonBiz booking program to effectively manage appointments, cancellations and all booking requests. I created new systems within SalonBiz leading to the start of online booking, mass marketing via email, enhancing sales goals and direct compliance with the service providers via the SalonBiz Stylist app. I introduced new policies including new guidelines for the salon and spa, social media practices, cancellation policies and card on file accountability for our guests. I worked directly with Aveda as the Aveda ambassador to successfully share product knowledge and launches, monthly incentives and promotions. I prioritized the online aspect of the business which grew new appointment guests by 40%. I redesigned the website to include all new services with new gender-neutral pricing, team information, career opportunities and booking requests. Through Instagram and Facebook, I worked to post regularly to keep our guests engaged. Along with my other responsibilities, I effectively worked to hire new cosmetologists, estheticians and massage therapists. I maintained inventory through monthly counts of merchandise, placing orders for retail and backbar and adding new related merchandise to our offering.
