Licensed Massage Therapist
CurrentAs the granddaughter of an osteopathic doctor, I have always had a great interest in helping and healing others. Inspired by his example, compassion for the suffering of others is a major influence in my life. I am very happy in my chosen profession because with my emphasis on therapeutic medical massage, I have daily opportunities to help others achieve that physical awareness which comes from an understanding of how the body works and how it can be healed through the services I offer. Specializing in trigger point therapy, deep tissue, reflexology, structural integration and craniosacral therapy, I help my clients obtain wellness in areas including full range of motion, pain reduction or even simple relaxation and stress relief. My insatiable thirst for learning ensures that I am constantly seeking instruction in new techniques, so that the services I provide are never stagnant, but always evolving and improving. I am never so truly happy and at peace as when I am helping others!Although the term Viriditas was used long before the time of Saint Hildegard von Bingen, it was nevertheless popularized, as it were, by the 12th century abbess. Taken in its literal sense, Viriditas conveys the meaning of green, greenness, and growth. Taken metaphorically, it suggests vigor, freshness and vitality. Saint Hildegard understood that human beings are not truly physical, but also spiritual in nature and so for her, this spiritual understanding of Viriditas was just as essential as the physical. For her, Viriditas was an expression of Life's creative power. Here at Quantum Viriditas, located in The Natural Healing Center, our aim is to encourage and help you on your way to experiencing Saint Hildegard's Viriditas!
