I have over 18 years of experience in healthcare which I started as a CNA, then I received my certification in medication aide before going to nursing school and becoming an LVN. I worked as an LVN in pediatrics for 10+ years before becoming an RN. I have always had a passion for pediatrics, especially neonatal. My pediatric homehealth and obtain my MSN and completed that in May 2021 in Leadership and Management. I then chose to obtain my MBA in Healthcare Management and finished in 2022. In 2021 I left pediatrics and started working in-center dialysis and loved it and after a year of working incenter I moved to a home therapies dialysis position where I teach patients how to do peritoneal dialysis and Home hemodialysis at home. I love being able to teach patients how to take control of their health and do their life saving dialysis in the comfort of their home. In spring of 2024 I decided after working in dialysis for almost 3 years that I could go back to school to obtain my nurse practioner degree and continue to pursue nephrology and help my patients further. So by the end of 2025 I hope to have FNP-C behind my name and continue working with nephrology patients and dialysis patients.
