I'm currently working with Computer Vision algorithmic design for Stereo Camera based vehicle speed measurement. Hardware platform is based on NVIDIA Jetson.

In 2018 I joined MVISIA. Initially I was in a Technical Leader / Principal Engineer role, where I had to familiarize myself with a broader set of technologies including frontend/backend frameworks, cloud infrastructure providers and industrial automation technologies. I was responsible for choosing the technologies to be used, defining best practices around their usage, implementing the overall software architecture of our products around these tools and hiring / training the team to use them. In 2020 MVISIA was acquired by the WEG Group, so I transitioned to a management role. I was involved in the acquisition negotiation, the business, product and budget planning. After the acquisition, I was responsible for managing the technology team and driving the product portfolio development. My main accomplishments during this time were: - Proposed Few-Shot Learning solutions for both classification and coarse segmentation (grid) of images and implemented then on products for Industrial Applications. - Acquisition by WEG Group - Ramp-up Technology team from 3 to 15 Engineers in 2 years - Products launched in our portfolio allowed our revenue to grow ~1.5x and ~2.8x in 2021 and 2022

I've worked for 3 years for Motorola Camera team (1 year as an intern, 1 year as a contractor and 1 year as an employee), during this time I worked with: - AWB, Dual Flash troubleshooting, proposal of improvements and tool development (metadata parsing, visualization of algorithm heuristics paths and simulation of results with different parameters) for Tuning Team - Dual Camera development, including proposal and implementation of solutions for both Stereo Cameras and SIngle Cameras Bokeh Effects using CNNs - EIS solutions proposal and development including frame stacked based and deconvolution algorithms - Proposal and automatization of camera tests (acquisition and processing)My main accomplishments during this time were: - CNN based AWB algorithm proposal with on device implementation - Moto G3 DxOMark Score higher than flagship iPhone and Motorola's Higher End devices that year - Was listed as co-author on a patent: Automatic White Balance Using Histograms from Subsampled image.
