In this role, I create change enablement plans for company initiatives, and craft tactical communications to support those plans, like intranet articles, a weekly newsletter, presentations, videos, mass calendar invites, ghostwritten messages for leadership and more. I strive for this content to be employee-focused and authentic, while also strategic and supporting our goals. Woolpert is the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, and geospatial (AEG) firm in the country, acquiring and integrating new, global properties multiple times per year, and it is part of my role to forsee, mitigate and embrace growing pains. I acted as Digital Executive Producer at Cox Media Group Ohio (WHIO-TV), meaning I managed a group of nine digital content producers and oversaw our live content decisions across all online platforms. (This included websites, social media accounts, newsletters, mobile apps, and CTV app). I managed the team I worked in various roles within previously, as noted below.

As part of a real-world designed course at Wright State titled The Business of Social Media, small groups functioned as social media consulting agencies for actual clients. I was chosen as the project manager for my group/agency, which involved leading and assigning tasks to a group of five others. Our agency created a three-month social media campaign for the company Squerb, a website where users could voice their opinions on various topics. Once we pitched our plan at the end of the semester, the company was encouraged to incorporate it into their real-world strategy.

I ran the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn for the College of Liberal Arts at Wright State University (which included 12 departments) during my last semester of college. The goal of these accounts was to drive recruitment and student morale.

I reported for the Wright State-run news website Dailyflipz during my senior year. The site was created as part of an Advanced Media Writing course and targeted towards millennial students. This experience and publication is what led to my being offered an internship with Cox Media Group.

Out of an interest in criminal law, I volunteered at the Montgomery County Public Defenders office as an intern during my senior year at Wright State. I created connections in the community that were valuable during my later career in local news.-walked clients through intake-shadowed attorneys at court-answered phones/screened messages for attorneys-organized case files
