Designed and prototyped a four-bar, digging arm design for a walking robot using SolidWorks and Mathematica simulation code. Adjusted the initial walking robot chassis to accommodate new components and developed a system to actuate the digging arms that included the use of a stepper motor and a complex gear train. Designed and prototyped a reinforced telescoping wing with SolidWorks by implementing internal components to house carbon fiber rods that stiffen the wings as they telescope outwards.Prototyped using both PLA and resin printers.
