English as a second language teacher in Chonburi, Thailand. I taught grade 5, grade 7, grade 8, and grade 9 students English through speaking, reading, writing, and listening. I actively challenged them to learn through games, crafts, and hands-on activities and used various forms of media in the classroom.

I created schedules for e-books as well as edited and checked them for quality control.

As an editorial intern at Highlights for Children in Honesdale, Pa., I assisted editorial assistants, editors, and others to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. I edited continuities and other projects for the company as well as created and edited puzzles. I also wrote and edited a special interest publication for summer 2015 for Highlights Press.

I was an intern in the acquisitions department at the Penn State Press, State College, PA.I processed manuscripts, vetted proposals, wrote acceptance and rejection letters as well as other daily tasks with the help of the two editorial assistants I worked with. I also worked with the rights and permissions manager and have a basic understanding of this field.
