About Cassidy Collins

I graduated from the University of North Texas, with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies I would like to work in the medical field, I have always been very passionate about the medical field and I've been a pretty great sales men over the years, I am looking for a job in medical sales either pharmaceutical or devices. I had the opportunity to shadow Robert A. Handley M.D., an Interventional Radiologist. Some of my experiences included watching numerous Uterine Fibroid Embolizations which was just one of the many procedures I witnessed. I was able to ask questions of Dr. Handley and Anesthesiologist Dr. Gibson. Being behind the scenes, in a real work environment, reassured my devotion to medicine.I’m also worked on research with bacterial virus (Bacteriophage) for Dr. Lee Hughes. I had completely isolated one phage from a soil sample. After Isolation I was able to determine that this Phage was genetically different from all others previously discovered, landing this phage "Wentworth" in Cluster (BN) which was a new genetic cluster at the time.
