As a student at the University of Vermont majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, I am an eager learner who looks forward to jumping into new projects and working in groups of people. My strengths include strong leadership skills, organization, and persistence. I have particularly enjoyed teaching piano to eight students continuously over five years (throughout highschool and a few years of college), allowing me to utilize my leadership and networking skills through teaching and collaborating with my students. My particular accomplishments include fulfilling the role of Secretary of my High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society, and in more recent years, working as a Teaching Assistant for my university's Business Communications course. As Secretary, I was able to utilize my leadership skills and work in, and lead, a group of people who share a common goal. As a teaching assistant, I am able to working alongside the professor of the course to develop and deliver lesson plans, as well as act as a resource to all students in the course. I am looking for more information regarding internships in the marketing field; I am very interested in finding creative ways to work with others to reach consumers.
