I co-led a team of 15+ people on the paint line, working primarily on the unload side of the line. This included performing quality checks on parts coming off the line, and making quick decisions on what to do with parts that did not pass initial quality inspection.

• Saved over $150,000 annually by effectively completing time studies, developing standard work, and improving upon general manufacturing processes• Co-led BTD’s 6S initiative by creating audit sheet, developing training for all BTD Lakeville employees, and participating in audits and giving constructive feedback. Dramatic improvement was seen in the plant following the implementation of these audits, eventually used at all 4 BTD sites• Led a storyboard for all parts assembled in a single robot cell in which the team found and implemented over 7 different solutions, resulting in 0 defects/returns in the following year• Developed Excel sheets for tracking/analyzing BTD Lakeville’s consumable/VMI cost, eventually used at all 4 BTD sites
