Job Title: Crisis Clinician/Specialist & Mobile Crisis TeamThis includes working as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) playing a critical role in providing immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. 1. Crisis Assessment and Intervention: Performed thorough assessments to determine the severity and nature of the crisis. This is provided by evaluating the mental health status, risk of harm to self or others, and the need for hospitalization or other services. This includes de-escalation during crises through counseling, problem-solving, and therapeutic interventions. 2. Service Coordination: Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, case managers, and medical staff. In addition, referrals to clients should be provided to the appropriate resources, such as outpatient treatment programs, inpatient care, or community services. In addition, by assisting in developing short-term safety and crisis plans tailored to individual needs.3. Client Support and Advocacy: This is provided by immediate emotional support and psychoeducation to clients and their families. For example, advocating for clients to access appropriate mental health resources and services. This may include, empowering individuals to engage in follow-up care and long-term mental health treatment. 4. Documentation and Compliance: Included but not limited to maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential records of all assessments, interventions, and referrals.
