About Cassidy Simas

I am an alumni of the University of Florida, holding both a Master's and a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering. My academic experience is most strongly aligned with bioengineering and cell culture work, as well as knowledge in software such as R, MATLAB, and SolidWorks design. My research has lead to two co-authored publications, with one currently under peer-review.I currently am employed as a Research Biologist under the Protein Science team at Biocryst Pharmaceuticals, where I aid in various protein and small-molecule based assays to help further the development of therapeutics for patients with rare diseases.
