As a kid who was adopted through the Department of Children and families, I was striving to show the world that good things can come from the worst situations. Having this understanding from a young age I always pushed myself to try new things and be a part of the team. From cheerleading to soccer and chorus, I was able to make connections with great coaches and teammates. The number one rule I learned in cheerleading was “There is no I in team”. Teamwork is a big priority in the business world and being a good team player is what it takes to excel in your career. I landed my position at Cataldo Custom Builders Inc., by being a part of an AutoCAD team in High school and networking with my teams sponsors while at the AutoCAD competition in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2015. This is my third year at Cataldo Custom Builders and so far, have gained skills such as budgeting, website design, marketing, Builder software (Buildertrend), QuickBooks, and many others. After I have achieved my masters in Finance, I would like to pursue a career in the Finance sector and have a job on a team that helps each other succeed. My dream is to work my way up to Chief Financial Officer for a company. I want to keep inspiring people to follow their dreams and reach for the stars. I think the best way to inspire is to show people through your experiences and support from friends and family.
