Current• Supported all stages of an Agile (Scrum) software development lifecycle in collaboration with a team of 20 people to develop CRISP InContext, a single-page data visualization web application used by over 150,000 health care providers.• Developed front-end state management, UI/UX, and logging features using JavaScript, React.js (with Redux and Material-UI), Node.js, and Azure Application Insights.• Developed backend REST API, caching, and SQL database features using .NET Core with C#.• Wrote integration and unit tests using Jest, xUnit, Testing Library, Enzyme, and Azure API Management.• Maintained Azure infrastructure and configuration as code using Terraform, PL/SQL, Azure Application Configuration, Azure Key Vault, Bash and PowerShell scripts, and Azure Resource Manager templates.• Architected and documented the technical roadmap for upcoming features across multiple systems and microservices, for new functionality as well as legacy code. • Supported the team by pair programming, training junior engineers, interviewing and assessing CRISP Engineering candidates, running brown bag meetings, and running a weekly engineering book club.Key Accomplishments• Reengineered a patient encounter data feature end-to-end to present more effective visualization of patient encounter data based on user feedback, and to improve code clarity and maintainability of the feature across the stack.• Reduced app loading time at launch by engineering a user-requested manual querying feature end-to-end; including data retrieval, state management, and UI/UX; so that only the most relevant data sources would be queried by default at launch and less relevant data sources could be queried via a selection dialog.• Restructured test and production release checklists to reduce redundancies so that the time spent on the release process was reduced by half without sacrificing quality
