Worked in the planning department in Leesburg, VA working on a series of complex entitlement applications and large scale mixed-use planning projects. Gained expertise in understanding and applying development regulations, general land-use and planning principles and the entitlement process.

Worked on diverse set of projects from concept ideation and community/client engagement to construction inspection and as-built creation. My work was focused on large scale projects including the Allegany County, MD bicycle and pedestrian master plan and the Easter Continental Divide Loop Trail master plan.

I worked as a designer for the Water Research Institute (WRI) Brownfield Reclamation Department. As a member of a multi-disciplinary design team of scientists, planners, historians, and designers, I gained experience collaborating within the team as well as the community. My duties included: graphic design for website and exhibits, attend community visioning exercises, create designs for communities that dealt with pollutants of brownfield, were functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
