Traveled to Kenya, Africa by combining my faith and athletic ability to play on a basketball team comprised of NCAA D1 and D2 women's basketball players. In Kenya we partnered with the Kenyan Athletes in Action staff and were able to reach out to run basketball camps for kids in school in Africa's largest urban slum, Kibera, while sharing testimonies of faith along the way. We also played in a tournament against local professional teams, and were involved in local humanitarian aid projects. The main objective was to build relationships within the community in order to ultimately share the gospel.
