By co-founding environmental not-for-profit Sustainable Table in 2009, I was able to leverage my background in marketing and communications to build an organisation and team around an ethos that places individual actions at the heart of how we build resilient communities, food systems and a world that respects and restores the natural environment.Achievements:• Supported the development of and helped to secure $1.4m in funding for the Sustainable Table Fund, a granting program enabling food system transformation across Australia• Dreamed up and launched the Give a Fork! Campaign which engaged over 100 restaurants and 300 households in discussion and actions to live more ethically and with less waste. The campaign raised $40,000 and the #grexy (green + sexy) hashtag was used over 11,000 times during the campaign• Secured $150k in funding via Pick My Project to develop and launch Mt Martha Farmers’ Market• Author of award-winning educational cookbook, The Sustainable Table, which sold out in two editions and won Best Sustainable Food Book at the 2012 Gourmand World Cookbook AwardsResponsibilities• Strategy development, board recruitment and reporting• Team and volunteer management• Copywriter and content creator for website, social + print media, eDMS, campaigns, eBooks, and annual report• Built a 40k-strong network across social and eDM channels• Set and managed budgets and expenditures (between $200k - $1m)• Sustainable Table brand identity, development and management • Media contact and subject matter expert including appearances on ABC 7.30 Report, Sunrise Morning TV, RRR, ABC Radio and feature writing for Nourish Magazine• Editor and Creative Director of Seasonal Regional, a cookbook profiling producers from across Victoria
