I volunteered on a weekly basis, and my role was to assist the pupils to concentrate on their school tasks, playing board games and improving their vocabulary by reading with them. These tasks have really helped the children with their problem solving skills, concentration and social skills. More than that, it has also further improved my communication skills and patience.

During my time there I was responsible for assisting and observing the designers at work. One of the task I completed was translating some of the blueprint from Disneyland Shanghai from English to Chinese, which further improved my skill to juggle with different languages at the same time. And was also given the opportunity to design a children storefront using Adobe Photoshop and a graphic drawing tablet. Through this experience, I am able to widen my perspective on designing, improve my social skills further and get used to working in a team.
